Stock Rationalisation
_ Localism and economic
regulation bring added incentive to the stock rationalisation agenda which has
developed in recent years, with many organisations swapping stock or entering
into management agreements with organisations who can provide a more local
presence and management service for remote or outlying stock.
With HMRC considering a change in VAT rules from 2012 to bring shared services between organisations more in line with European Directives, one of the largest stumbling blocks to rationalisation without compromising the asset base will potentially be removed with VAT not being payable on services provided.
We have significant experience of project managing stock rationalisation through management agreements – ranging from small local schemes through to large swathes of stock and between landlords across the sector – all delivered on time, to budget and with positive outcomes for organisations and customers.
